Vermont Slate takes a Modern Turn

Clean Lines   Contemporary Design   How do you take ordinary 16 x 16 slate tile and make it a contemporary focal point?  Architect John Szafran was seeking a modern, linear tile layout to reflect the scale of this custom fireplace design.
