Reflective Oasis

A desert oasis features clean geometric lines in this Vanishing Edge Pool.  This fabulous pool boasts a radius spill-wall extending over 55 linear feet, 75 linear feet of perimeter overflow in black limestone and an all glass tile spa.  Essential to achieving this finished product was Kirk’s ability to visualize and communicate to the finest detail and our passion for perfection.

Here Luke floats the substrate to achieve a perfect curve on a 55′ long wall.

Waterproofing for hydrostatic pressure, antifracture membrane have been applied and tile installation commences.

Floating the spa.

Fabricating the floor medallion – hand cut radius glass mosaics.

Luke installs the medallion.

Pool complete, beautiful reflections.

The pool tile substrate preparation and tile installation took just over 3 months to complete to meet design specs, and to comply with essential installation requirements that ensure submerged tile installations will be sound for years to come.

One of our favorite parts of this project was creating the handmade medallion for the base of this spa.  We customized the center tile to include the homeowner’s name into this work of art!
